FAQs

  • Seastyle Homes is a complete turnkey builder that aims to reduce stress and complexity from the building process. Our house and land packages have transparent pricing and includes land, building cost, turf, driveways, alfresco areas and fencing. We provide you with a depreciation schedule and professional photos upon handover to ensure you’re well equipped for your investment journey.

  • Legal fees, stamp duty, bank fees etc. are all additional costs to consider and are separate from the build process.

    The only additional costs you’ll incur from us is if you make any changes/additions to the home floorplan and facade. Or select tiles, flooring or other inclusions that are not part of the builder’s range.

  • We’ve designed our floorplans to be user-friendly and be an efficient use of space. We don’t believe you’ll need to change them, but we understand from time to time this may happen. If you’d like to customise, our draftsperson will be happy to help and there will be a price variation to signoff before proceeding.

  • In the current climate, Seastyle Homes are completing lowset builds around 4-6 months and highset builds around 6-8 months from building approval.

  • We have QBBC home warranty, contract works and public liability insurance while the house is being built. Portable long service levy is also covered by Seastyle Homes.

    You will receive a structural 6 year 6 month warranty for the building. There is a 5 year warranty on your appliances. You will receive paper copies upon handover.

  • Turf and front feature garden are included in our house+land packages. If you would like to design and add to the garden, be our guest!

  • We have three pre-designed boards by our in-house professional interior designer. They are Dawn (light), Noontide (mid/blend) and Dusk (dark). Simply choose the design you like best and we can start ordering and building.

  • We don’t think you’ll find anyone who has better inclusions for the price! Things like USB powerpoint, LED strip lighting in the kitchen, depreciation schedule, professional photos and a designer letterbox are all included in our price.

    We’ve tried to think as a buyer so we can provide all the things that we would want in a home.

  • While Seastyle Homes don’t finance the house and land package, we’ve been in the industry a long time and have a few trusted businesses we can refer to help you. Reach out and we’ll put you in contact!

  • Yes, building requires progress payments as follows:

    • Deposit (5%)

    • Slab Stage (20%)

    • Frame Stage (20%)

    • Enclosed Stage (25%)

    • Fixing Stage (20%)

    • Practical Completion (10%)

  • All our homes are designed and built to achieve a five star energy rating. This includes the use of insulation, Anticon insulation to roofing, LED lighting, ceiling fans and water saving fixtures to help with energy and water consumption.

  • Yes, we are able to complete the design, certification and build of your pool if you wish to have this completed at the same time as your home build so it is all completed and ready at time of handover. This also includes all pool fencing requirements. We are able to include this within the build contract so the pool costs can be included within your finance arrangements if required.
